The late night cravings for sweets never go away, and when they get serious, this has become my go-to treat. And I dare say it's good for you.
Ready in: 2-3 minutes
1 1/2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon agave
1 teaspoon dark chocolate chips
1. In a small ramekin, melt the peanut butter in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
2. Stir in the cocoa powder, agave and dark chocolate chips, then microwave another 30 seconds.
Why I dare say it's good for you? It's made with peanut butter (protein and good fats that you're supposed to eat - in moderation!), unsweetened cocoa powder (antioxidants and fiber) and sweetened with agave (all-natural, low GI sweetener). All together, it comes in at about 200 calories. Not a bad treat to factor into your diet.
