Girl's Night Sliders
Wouldn't your friends thank you if you treated them to a yummy meal that didn't send them home wishing they hadn't worn their skinny jeans? Here is one idea. I took the ultimate bar food and made it skinny - these sliders are very low in fat, and high in protein and fiber.

Serves: 4
Ready in: 20 minutes

You'll Need;

1/2 lb ground turkey breast
3 sundried tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup pitted kalamata olives, chopped
1/4 cup feta cheese crumbles
1/4 cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt, plus more
       to dress the sliders
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3-4 basil leaves, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 whole grain slider buns*
1 plum tomato, cut into 8 slices
fresh arugula

Here's How:
1. Add the turkey breast, sundried tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, 1/4 cup yogurt, lemon zest, paprika, red pepper flakes, and basil in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Use your hands to combine the ingredients. Form the turkey into 8 even-sized patties, each about 1/2-inch thin and slightly larger in circumference than the buns.
2. Preheat the olive oil in a large nonstick pan over medium heat. Add the patties to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.
3. Place a pattie in each bun. Serve with fresh tomato and arugula, and top with a dollop of yogurt.

These look fantastic! Question: you placed an asterisk next to the wheat slider buns, but I can't find the corresponding notation. Did I miss it?

Thanks for sharing your recipe!

I think she meant to mention what kind of buns were used. From the picture, they look like the Flatout Mini buns mentioned a lot by Hungry Girl. You could also take mini buns and cut them down for a lower carb option.

Hi Ally and Lindsey! Oops.. I did forget to mention =) I was going to say that I use the Sandwich Thins minis. They also have whole grain Hawaiian bread which would be delicious but then I would cut those down a bit for less bread. Enjoy!

WOW! My husband is one of the most finicky eaters you will ever meet. However he is open to trying something if I lie aka "don't tell the full story of the ingredients". I asked him to just try it before putting the traditional ketchup and Mustard on a what he thought was still a burger. Well let me just say that I couldn't have seen him eat this meal fast enough. We both loved it - KUDO's to you - I can't wait to try all of your recipes. This was my 1st and I just stumbled upon your blog yesterday for the 1st time.
