This salad has gotten a lot of press from my friends and family. From the sweet and tangy balsamic dressing to the combination of ingredients, I've made this salad a staple at my table every time I invite people over for dinner. I make it just for me all the time, too.
Ready in: 10 minutes
You'll Need:
3 cups leafy greens
1/2 apple, diced
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup reduced fat gorgonzola cheese crumbles
1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
Here's How:
1. Add the greens, diced apples, cranberries, walnuts, and cheese to a large bowl.
2. To make the dressing, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey and a pinch of salt and pepper. Dress and toss the salad right before serving.
