Greenmarket in July Pasta
The sequel to my Greenmarket in July Pizza. I made this recipe over and over again while living in NYC during the summer. I had never seen zucchini so big and onions so... raw, i.e. still attached to their roots. Beautiful. Add Agata & Valentina's fresh whole wheat fettucini, and there was no reason not to enjoy a big plate of veggie vitamin-enriched pasta!

Veggie Bolognese
Earlier this year I underwent yet another health revolution: After reading "The Kind Diet" by Alicia Silverstone, I opted to eat more whole grains and vegetables as a source of protein. I was meat free for 2 1/2 half months, quite the record for anyone who knows me well. As it turns out, Alicia was right on the money: a diet rich in whole grains, vegetables and healthy fats is the key to making your body work at its absolutely best.

La Bella Pasta
This easy pasta dish was a hit in my family, picky eaters and all. Made with very few, but very fresh ingredients, it's naturally delicious and ready in the time it takes to boil the pasta water and cook the noodles.

Brown Orzo Risotto
Here's my fake-out on traditional risotto. Instead of short grain rice, I used whole wheat orzo pasta. It has the shape of rice, but is packed with protein and fiber, so it's a meal in itself, as well as a fancy, easy side dish.

Simple
Stir Fry

You can make this dish from start to finish in less time than it would take you to have it delivered, and for half the price! The best part is they are ingredients you most likely already have on hand. Make it your own by adding any veggies you like: sugar snap peas, broccoli florets, bean sprouts - you name it!

The AntiPasta

This dish does away with pasta’s bad reputation. It’s light, loaded with flavor and powered by whole grains, protein, and vitamins. And it all comes together in 15 minutes, max! … buon appetito!

Ricotta Meets Squash & Sage Stuffed Ravioli

Ah, the flavors of fall - butternut squash and sage mix beautifully with airy ricotta cheese in this pasta dish. It's comfort food at its lightest.
